'A Talented, Inspiring Advanced Level Piano Teacher'
'Born in 1991, Alex Chisholm-Loxley is a piano teacher, performer and choral singer. Having graduated from the University of Leeds with a BAmusic degree, where he studied piano performance with Ian Buckle, Alex has gone on to tutor piano peripatetically at Westonbirt School, as well as continuing his independent teaching. A finalist in the 2015 LUUMS Piano Competition, Alex has also performed as part of the University of Leeds International Concert Series, and continues to search for performance opportunities. Also a passionate singer, he sings tenor in the Durham Cathedral Consort of Singers, and has performed with the Gabrieli's as part of the 2011 Proms.
Beyond performance and teaching, Alex also has a deep interest in composition, and early English choral music. He is also a keen chess player and champion longbow archer, having won the Wand World Championship in 2007.'
