Daniel is a British Pianist specializing in Jazz, Gospel and Pop. At the age of 11 he attended the prestigious Chetham's School of Music where he studied under Adrian Levine, Les Chisnal and Steve Berry for 7 years. He played the Violin in String Quartets, Chamber Orchestras, Symphony Orchestras and Choruses with guest professionals such as Conductors Sir Simon Rattle, Franz Anton Krager and natural trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins. Alongside his classical studies, he played piano for Big Bands and Jazz Ensembles playing alongside professionals Ian Dickson, Allen Vizzutti, Bob Mintzer and John Dankworth.
Daniel has recently taken up the position of visiting lecturer are the London College of Creative Media where he leads groups of students in the Professional Performance Year 3 module.
His musical career includes a residency at the Wellesley 5-star guest house in Hyde Park, peripatetic teaching in London and Essex and playing in Church. With an expansion into organ and synths, Daniel performs regularly in function gigs with multiple bands and is currently the Pianist for artists The Good Manners and Binky.
His inspirations range from Bach to Jacob Collier and has a passionate interest in Harmony and Expression.
