Mark is an experienced, professional, friendly and thorough piano teacher who has been teaching piano for over 10 years. He has worked as a piano teacher from his home in Leeds, as well as in a number of state and independent schools in North and West Yorkshire, including Fulneck School in Pudsey and Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate in York.

 

He started playing the piano at the age of 7 and moved to Leeds to study music seriously at the age of 17. He studied piano under the guidance of Julian Cima and during this time graduated with a BA (hons) degree in Music Studies at Leeds College of Music and subsequently, a Masters in Music Performance at The University of Leeds.

 

Mark has worked as a piano accompanist, wedding pianist, piano teacher and soloist. He has performed as part of the Leeds International Concert Season, as well as in venues such as Wakefield Cathedral, The Clothworkers’ Cententary Concert hall and The Venue. He has also performed on television during a recital in Castle Howard, North Yorkshire.
