Coming from a small goat farm in the Isle of Man, George has always had a deep connection with the natural world around him. He fused this with his talent for mathematics in his masters dissertation, where he proposed a mathematical mechanism for the formation of fungal fairy rings (the same mechanism that gives leopards their spots!).
George wields a broad mathematical training from his Masters in Mathematics MMath 1st Class (Hons) from the University of St Andrews. He is is a talented maths tutor and has years of experience teaching maths in schools, all of which he will bring to the online lesson space.
