Hebe is a recent graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, where she gained a BMus (Hons) in Performance. She was taught by Carol Jarvis and Philip White. Other teachers included Graham Lee and Dan Jenkins, and she also had some Sackbut lessons with Sue Addison.
Hebe took up the trombone aged 11, and performing in bands and ensembles has been a huge part of her life ever since. She has performed in well-known venues such as Snape Maltings, Cadogan Hall, St John's Smith Square, and LSO St Luke's. Though a classically trained musician, Hebe enjoys listening to and playing a wide range of music and encourages students of any age to get in touch about learning to play a brass instrument.
Hebe is a cheerful, friendly and highly empathic teacher who delivers lessons in a nurturing way, that are tailored to the needs of the individual and paced accordingly.
